Acadia National Park
Wildwood Stables Coplon Associates designed a comprehensive package for the rehabilitation of the Wildwood Stables site in Acadia National Park, where the popular carriage rides, horse stabling and a equestrian related campground are located. The first phase of improvements, completed in 2012 upgraded the paddock area. The second and largest phase, completed in 2014, upgraded visitor services and included a new shade/rain shelters for visitors waiting for a carriage rides, a new pole barn to shelter the carriages (previously left open to the elements), a new pedestrian circulation system and equestrian related improvements. The third phase, scheduled for construction in 2016 will upgrade the campground area.
