Coplon Associates developed a strategic plan to guide future policy, transportation management, and land use decisions along the Route 3 corridor in Trenton, Maine. The plan addressed access management along the heavily traveled arterial and depicted opportunities for the development of a new village center along a local road system. The plan balanced local needs to create new commercial and residential opportunities with state highway improvements. The plan addressed possibilities of connections to the proposed multi-modal transportation center. The planning process involved numerous public meetings and coordination with municipal representatives. Project consultants included Terrance J. Dewan and Associates and Gorrill Palmer Engineers.
