provided site design services for a new entry, parking
area and interpretive trail for this satellite site
of Acadia National Park. Celebrating the first European
settlement north of St. Augustine, Florida (1604), the
project involved integrating new parking, drop-off and
trail head into a sloping, vegetated site. The interpretive
sculptures along the trail display the arrival, settlement
and ultimate failure of the French colonists.
