Coplon Associates prepared a manual to guide maintenance and rehabilitation of more than 60 miles of historic carriage roads on public and private property at the original Rockefeller family estate in Pocantico, New York. Designed for use by park maintenance personnel, the manual addresses issues of road deterioration, drainage problems and vegetation management. The manual details reconstruction and maintenance regimes for road surfacing, drainage structures, erosion control and selective clearing on a seasonal, yearly and as needed basis.
