Coplon Associates has assisted the town of Guilford with planning for downtown improvements since 2002. Working through the Community Development Block Grant program, CA prepared a downtown improvement plan identifying opportunities to improve pedestrian connections, open space, parking and overall downtown appearance. This effort secured CDBG funding for implementation, which was coupled with Maine Department of Transportation corridor improvements. CA prepared design drawings for sidewalk and green space improvements. Completion is scheduled for spring 2008.
